Andrew Goodchild is a Senior Research Scientist at the Cooperative Research Centre for Distributed Systems Technology.

For the last five years, Andrew has worked in research and development in the areas of Health and Defence, with a focus on electronic health records and intelligence management systems. Andrew has expertise in performing benefits realization based business analysis and designing service oriented architectures for scalable and sustainable knowledge-intensive applications.

Beyond development of solutions, Andrew has a personal interest in how innovative technologies can be commercialized. Andrew holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, in which he studied semantic interoperability and distributed search of large numbers of databases.
