1877. This was known as Creek Vale Hill Cemetery. Local

- Emu Creek - There is an Emu Creek cemetery located about 17
kilometres north of Crows Nest then about 2 klms you cross Emu
Creek (which actually used to flow into Brisbane River before
the Wivenhoe Dam was built) and then a right turn onto a dirt
road called Emu Creek Road.  This eventually changes to Emu
Creek  Hall Road where my daughter lives and there is also
an Emu Creek Hall still standing as well. Probably someone knows
this area better than I do and could give a more accurate
description.  The cemetery seems to be quite a  small
        one with a few headstones.

Did you get the roadside grave just as you enter Leyburn

            Monumental (too big?)
- Dalby Monumental (p 3) - it's a large one, we have nothing
for it, there is now a large lawn cemetery called Myall Garden
          of Remembrance
- Downfall Creek Lutheran church and cemetery (p4) - this is
in Gulugaba  -26.25613,150.14920, there's nothing on
blanc under either name, looks about 50-100 graves (do-able)
- Tara cemetery - we have a directory for this but only some
overview photos, it has monumental & lawn graves
          (hundreds)
- Cumkillenbar/Kaimkillenbun Cemetery was originally
situated behind the Cumkillenbah Station Homestead which was
demolished many years ago. A plaque located inside the
cemetery gate records the names of all those known to be
buried in the cemetery between 1861 and its closure in 1957.

- Wandoan Cemetery. Opened in 1960 but not very big from the
          aerial imagery. Doable.  -26.07792,149.93573
- historic cemetery in Wandoan. Doesn't sound like there are
surviving headstones to photograph. Location is a bit vague. The
cemetery is located in bushland north of the town with
access from Golf Club Road and the unsealed Arnold Street
and has an interpretation panel which provides some
information about some of the people buried here. Three
gravesites are marked by metal pipe surrounds.
- Flinton cemetery

The cemetery is located in the grounds of the Catholic
Church, however, burial of any denomination is accepted. The
first burial recorded was in 1958.
But a 1972 town map shows a cemetery reserve and on
the adjacent block there is a building which looks (from the
aerial view) to be a church. So I guess that is it.

      - Boonoo Boonoo,
Tenterfield, NSW. Suspect that a fenced off area in a field may
have been the cemetery, but no memorials could be seen.

- Carindale (St Gabriel's. contact father Morris Collins). heading
outbound
on
Old Cleveland Road, past Creek Rd. over a little creek, then
cross Bulimba Creek, at the top of the hill. 3 huge trees and
post and rail fencing. Bridgnorth st). Modern church is on
site now, and nothing evident of a burial area.
- Fairney View. near Fernvale associated with St Peter's
Lutheran (Theuerkaut Rd & Fernvale Rd is the 'new' location
of church). Haven't found original location and associated
        cemetery.
- Gatton (Cnr Spencer and Riddell Sts) - former burial ground. There
is
a
large field behind the present Catholic church, with an ornate
gate entering from the church side. The field is probably too
large to be entirely cemetery reserve, and also faces west.

- Gibbons Camp - Gatton
          Shire

- Ropeley
          Zion Lutheran (11 names) 1912 - 1929 - where is it? (Small

- Stapylton - Rotary  Park Rd. Shown in UBD285-E1, but not
        found.
- Toohey Forest - remains moved to Mt Gravatt in 1940
