Using QLD Government Gazette to locate cemeteries

1. Find "QLD Government Gazette" microfilms. State library of Queensland "MFS 328.943".
2. In the index, locate
• Land
• Reservered ...
• Cemetery
• Copy page numbers
• For each page, locate the cemetery declaration(s) and gather
  
• (capture image) and name by cemetery and year gazetted
  
• Name of cemetery
• County name
• Parish Name
• Portion number
• Plan number
3. Take this list to Queensland State Archives
• Use parish index to locate approximate LAT/LON
• Use Card or on-line index to locate parish map (sorted by Parish)
  
• Find portion number, and plan number. Plan numbers are often listed on the map, and have an associated reserve number.
