Bryden (formerly Deep Creek) (Fairview) cemetery, Esk Shire


Address: 2359 Wivenhoe-Somerset Dam Road, Bryden District, Esk shire
4 km north of the Catholic cemetery. There is a wire gate in the fence across an unmade road running west. This gate is 300m south of the gate to a well maintained property. The unmade, unnamed road runs west 300m with a fence to the south. At the end of this road is a narrow fenced off area surrounding the (grass) overgrown cemetery. It is not visible from the main road. The cemetery is in the south-west corner of the homestead block.

The Bryden area was originally known as Deep Creek from 1878 to 1917, then changed to avoid confusion as there was another Deep Creek in Queensland. (see here if link broken).
