Python Language Object Interpreter Python is an interpreted object-oriented programming language, and is often compared to Tcl, Perl or Scheme. Python comes with a quite substantial library of code and can relatively easily be extended with code written in C or C++. Python supports the usual set of OO features:- inheritance, classes, exception handling etc. Python runs on most platforms known to man and is easy to learn.
