The ATP/ER is to be used for all projects, including internal projects. The <B>Authority to Proceed</B> is the key document for initiating a proposal and also a project. The <B>Engineering Review Report</B> is produced monthly, to report progress, resource usage and the financial situation of the project. Notes: The "ATP Workflow" sheet & "ER Summary" sheet each have a "Print" button to print the relevant sheets. The ER part is fairly automated, once set up. The key thing to remember is to first "freeze" the previous month's values in "white" cells in the "Financial Summary" sheet, BEFORE entering anything in "Resource Usage" or "Financial Summary" for the month you are working on. There are 3 types of ATP: - proposal (prepared in parallel with the proposal), - interim (sometimes, for large/long projects) - project (prepared during project startup - amending the earlier one(s), as necessary).
