At CiTR we have lots of people with the same first (given) name and some with the same surname (family name). Also, we have a mix of user ids - some are first name, some are surname, some are initials, some are "other" (with some more "other" than others!) ... therefore, ... <B>The CiTR email system at the John Oxley Centre is set up so Jo Doe, say, can be emailed using one of the following: J.Doe@citr or j.doe@citr (it's not case sensitive) J_Doe@citr or j_doe@citr Jo.Doe@citr or ... If you don't your mail may go to the wrong person after a while (e.g., when a new staff member takes over the first name you used) The mechanism to get the mail system to do this was set up by someone in the support group aeons ago.
