Abstract                : Python is an interpreted object-oriented programming
                          language, and is often compared to Tcl, Perl or Scheme.
                          
                          Python comes with a quite substantial library of code and
                          can relatively easily be extended with code written in
                          C or C++. 
                          
                          
                          Python supports the usual set of OO features:- inheritance,
                          classes, exception handling etc. 
                          
                          Python runs on most platforms known to man and is easy
                          to learn.
                          
                          The M4 project has been successfully using Python V1.3,
                          V1.4 has been 
                          released and is available.
