Abstract                : 
                          Meta-data about all sorts of things can be added to the 
                          repository's knowledge base. The repository system allows the
                          entry of a hyperlink to the actual thing being described so 
                          the users can just "click" and view it. 
                          
                          This guide:
                          
                          - discusses document formats such as Word, Excel, Frame Maker,
                            items under configuration control, e.g. considerations 
                            when the content should be readily viewable. 
                          
                          - makes suggestions about how to make the latest version of
                            something always the one available
                          
                          - existing areas for items and the special repository area
                            (for when an existing area is unsuitable)
                          
                          - how to reference an item in one of these areas (i.e. how to
                            build up a URL for the "Address" attribute).
