Drove to Nyngan, following what was one of longest straight sections of railway in world. Emus on the road this time; they seem less spooked by cars here.

Very few other cars, went through a couple of small towns. 'The' shop had closed and nothing else really left. (Railway closed after 1990 floods). One town (Byrock) had wandering goats.
