# graves: 6 burials found, no remaining memorials.

When drilling holes for telephone (or power) poles some burials were uncovered. They are believed to be from the original first fleet settlement.

This site is believed to be part
of the burial ground connected
with Phillipsburgh  which was
settled during the first settlement
of the island in 1788-1814
