Dr Peter Bruza. Senior Project Leader

Peter Bruza is holder of a doctorate in computer science and mathematics from the University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands. His thesis topic dealt with integrating hypermedia structures with intelligent information retrieval in order to improve retrieval effectiveness in large hypermedia.

Currently he works as project leader of the Information Ecology project at DSTC Pty Ltd. The main objective of this project is to discover context-sensitive ways to satisfy the information needs of users in complex information environments.

His previous involvement with the DSTC was with the Resource Discovery Unit (RDU) as a seconded academic. Within the RDU he researched several aspects of information discovery on the Internet.
